Gastón Grant

After obtaining his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cordoba (Argentina), he became a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics (Ministry of Health of Buenos Aires and University of La Plata). 

Always drawn to the fantastic world of “mother and fetus”, he completed specialized training in the field of fetal-maternal medicine in Malaga, Spain. First at the University Hospital of Malaga and then at the renowned “Gutenberg Center” where he worked for 8 years surrounded by some of the most recognized experts worldwide.

Being in Switzerland since 2015, he spent eight years in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the HFR in Fribourg, first as a consultant  physician, then as the senior consultant physician, and since 2020 as an adjunct physician after obtaining his title of Specialist in fetal-maternal medicine (ISFM postgraduate diploma, Switzerland).

With 27 years of professional experience forged in 3 different countries, he has also been involved in the training of several resident physicians and senior physicians in gynecology and obstetrics, particularly in the field of fetal-maternal medicine. Between 2015 and 2023, he also participated in the training of medical students at the University of Fribourg (Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Medicine), both in a theoretical and practical framework with various trainees.
