A pregnancy that develops outside of the womb is not viable and can present a dangerous health situation that requires immediate treatment. If you experience intense pain that does not respond to painkillers and have a positive pregnancy test, we recommend going directly to the emergency department (A&E) of the HFR Fribourg.

These benign tumors may cause heavy periods, a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen, or an increase in abdominal volume. We can provide a diagnosis and management plan for uterine fibroids.

Ovarian cysts are common in women of reproductive age and often resolve on their own without intervention. In most cases, they only require follow up. Depending on their evolution and appearance on ultrasound, further investigation or treatment may be necessary.

Also known as “organ descent,” occurs due to weakness of the pelvic floor muscles. In addition to discomfort in the lower abdomen or a feeling of heaviness in the vagina, it can lead to other complications such as recurrent urinary infections. Depending on its severity, surgical treatment may be necessary. Our team will work with you to develop an effective treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
